We got married on 28 August and initially engaged Helena to do our flowers only. We were attempting to do most of the rest ourselves. However, due to work commitments, we were failing and about one month before the wedding, we asked Helena to help us!We had an amazing wedding planned in our heads with a theme of rural Australia mixed and elements of our home countries of South Africa and New Zealand. However, we were beginning to realise that we were not going to be able to make this a reality without some intervention. This is when Helena stepped in.Once we engaged Helena, she flew into action and within the four weeks we had left, managed to create not only the wedding we had in our minds, but took it to another level. Not only did she create the most gorgeous reception and table settings, she took our desired theme and ran with it, consulting with us the whole time. We can only describe what she created as clean, understated elegance and it was exactly what we had dreamed of. And the flowers were so beautiful.On the day, Helena had complete control of everything - from running to the hotels in the morning delivering bouquets and button holes to doing the last minute set up at the venue and marshalling bands and caterers and everyone else. She was the last to leave at midnight and the first to arrive the next morning to clean the venue and pack up.Helena, we cannot thank you and Neil enough for making this the wedding we had dreamed of. It was an absolute pleasure getting to know you and if I had to name on person that made this wedding such a success, there is no doubt you are that person.
